What a great weekend…. starting with an outing friday night with my husband… we were supposed to go to a buddhist discussion in NYC to see a very inspiring monk speak on peace and mindfulness in society, BUT hit so much traffic, we ended up missing it (talk about practicing being present in the moment) .. we ended up having such a great time walking the New York City streets together … no kids …just us … very romantic… much needed.

A bunch of sales this week at Geezees, which is great for more than the obvious… since we are still doing our donation of 1 handmade hat per sale for kids fighting cancer … runs the whole month of October, and inspired by one of our fav bloggers MckMama .. with whom we will be doing something special this week ! I think I will be up many late nights crocheting, thanks to my great clients!

Then, a great fall day with my family and friends … out on a farm, picking pumkins, getting lost in a few acres of a great corn maze … kids are wiped out , my brain is nice and clear … life is good!
