I will share with you some funky new (to me) shops that I found and adore….
Alicia Ballard , please go take a peak at her shop Sierra Metal Design.
Her Inspiration?? Alicia says “My father owns a metal shop. I can remember when I was a little girl and my sisters and I use to play there. It was magical when we were there. We could make a little piece of metal come to life with these monsters. Swirls, circles and bending things⦠As I grew older though, I moved away from this magic and on to real world things: college, work, a mortgage. Lucky I have rediscovered the mystery and joy of creating. I started with something pretty simple-a candleholder, but suddenly the ideas are pouring in. Stakes, herb gardens, spice racks, bookmarks and maybe even jewelry. Who knows? It is truly amazing all the things you can create out of metal. ” LOVE HER!
Since my recent disclosure about my new obsession about the Twilight books…I was searching for bookmarks, and fouind her and I HAD to purchase one … they are only $5, and you get to customize it with up to 8 letters. So Cool …
($7 gets you a little bigger and 10 letters) …
I am getting HAPPINESS on mine.
She also makes Custom Luggage tags (2 for $25!) Makes a neat gift for the traveler.
My next FIND is a creation Nicole Owens, who is the owner of a whimsical store called …
SweetTeaClothier’s, she also has a beautiful blog http://60piggies.blogspot.com

She makes these lovely little fabric dolls…and I WANT ONE! Each doll has a little quirky personality and story …this is Millie and she is “fond of gummy bears and clementines. she can count backward from 39 and is almost never scared of spooky stories. she is particularly good at keeping secrets. “

She also creates beautiful clothing…Does it get sweeter than that?? YES IT DOES … because her profile also reads “i’m an indie artisan with a fondness for handcrafted goodness. i love little people and galoshes and polka dots and blackberry jam. my shop is full of goodies for mums and littles, from sunshiney aprons and skirts to smallish dresses and softie dolls. every sweetTea sale helps bring home our next child from ethiopia.” She has been kind enough to offer my blog readers 20% off any purchase from her shop, good until tuesday (3/2) at midnight. Just need to enter discount code ‘geezees’ in the ‘message to seller’ area, and she will send a revised invoice. THANKS NICOLE!
WOW .. the amazing people you find on the net … I hope you enjoyed my FINDS, hope you check back with me next week for more …. Now the SHARING part … You find out something about me — here I go …
I laugh in uncomfortable situations … uncontrollable giggles.
What about you?? What am I finding out about you today?

I was a little freaked out about how it would turn out but I'm liking it so far. I found you through SITS, btw. I will be following your blog and reading your past posts. I love Etsy as well!

LOVE the metal. Those pieces are amazing!s
oh no me too, the giggling thing, I was called into my bosses office once when I was about 16 or 17. He was expanding the office and going to make some changes in staff, I got all nervous when he asked me if I wanted to stay with them and I just giggled and giggled, he wasn't impressed not the answer he was expecting I guess, it worked out eventually after I explained the bad habit I had of nervous giggling, still brings me shivers. The canvas for the medics is magic.
Well, T.G.I. Triple F! That is so much better than T.G.I. Single F! Nice wares–thanks for sharing
