I was inspired by a beautiful blogger today, MckMama, if you havent checked out her site, it is a treat. She is honest mom, wife, writer, and woman who blogs about her life, her kids and her passions. Today she posted about these amazing children that are batteling cancer, going thru chemotherapy, and experiencing hair loss. They need and would cherish hats to keep their little heads warm this winter season.
So starting today, with help from my beautiful grandmother, Geezees will be donating 1 handmade knitted and crocheted hat for every sale for the month of October. Beautiful Cause…thank you MckMama for your daily inspirations.
(Geezees will donate 1 hat per sale , with a max of 25 homemade hat donations, or my canvases will never go out! lol)
Get your holiday shopping done a bit early, purchase a canvas with me, and know that you are helping these kids feel a little bit more warm and fuzzy this winter season…knowing people out there care.
Do you have something special you would like to do or help, or inspiring words, please comment below and pass the word……
Have a hat you want to donate also?? Email me directly at geezees@gmail.com and I will collect and send to MckMama at the end of the month……
Off to buy my yarn…
Lets help these kids….

I love her blog… And what a great cause. Such haunting photos as well…
They do that at our church too. I've donated yarn every chance I get. I think it's a wonderful thing to do. I'm glad I became your newest follower on this Wordless Wednesday. Come see me too if you get a chance. My mom also had Breast cancer back in 1961, and beat it.
