…… because I LOVE how it makes me feel ….. one of my favorite singers is Barry Manilow
(I am finally outing myself as a closet Barry fan) lol……and I was lucky enough to work on a canvas this month with lyrics from one of my favorite Barry songs …
Here a canvas with the song “I Loved Her First” which I talked about in my last blog post … (THE tear jerker song)
And here is one that makes me feel all warm and fuzzy
… my wedding song… “To make you feel my love”
When I am in a bad mood, or stressed out, it is amazing how turing up the radio and singing a few favorite songs really turns it around.
So for 2010, I need to listen to more music…..

I am a music junkie so I love that your goal is to listen to more music this year! One of my goals for this year is to communicate with my parents more. They both live out of state (each in a different state). I try to call them once a week but sometimes that turns into 2 or 3. I want to make more of a conscious effort to make that phone call weekly, or even more often.

Those canvases are awesome! Listen to more music is a great resolution. One of mine is to READ more. I usually read business/marketing books (DORK!) but hubby got me The Help for Christmas and I can hardly put it down!

Great goals! It's amazing how listening to music can change a mood. I try to always have music playing, which annoys other people because I always sing along and I don't have the best singing voice!

those are awesome resolutions! i have so many goals for the year…it feels like it's gonna be a good one:)
I promise to have more spontaneous dance parties with my daughter this year! She loves it when I turn on old show tunes (or new songs from Glee) really loudly and have a dance party in the living room… she shakes her little toddler butt along with me!!!
